Experience of our employee Petar Raičević

Petar Raičević, Unit director at the Operational Risk Directorate, in the Bank since February 2020, told us how he saw OTP bank and its operation, what combined work conditions meant for him, and what had positively surprised him after transferring from one bank to Vojvođanska banka:

“OTP bank provides a dynamic environment with continuous changes and challenges, and a real space where an individual can demonstrate personal qualities that function within the overall achievement of team results to which he/she belongs. What positively surprised me was the willingness of all colleagues to help and instruct younger colleagues in their work, and I especially emphasize the expediency of senior level managers who are always available, operational and flexible. In the Bank, in the pandemic conditions, we organised ourselves in a way that I work from the Bank’s office a couple of days during the week, while the other days in the Home Office regime. I would say that in extraordinary circumstances, we have demonstrated that we can function, be productive and efficient, while maintaining work regardless of the point from which it is performed. On the other hand, working in the Bank’s premises, regardless of the business segment in question, is the core and meaning of sustainable development and operation in the long run – working in the Bank’s premises with your team has multiple benefits, from social impact to exchange of experiences and knowledge, improving business skills, live meetings, to more efficiently solving simpler everyday problems at work. I believe that the combination of work from home and work in the Bank’s premises is inevitable and really necessary on the long term, in the conditions in which we live today. This is a platform that the young personnel is increasingly taking into account when choosing a job – logistics for working from home. It is also both a European and a world trend”.
